Reading Wk3 (peace)

Peace

This week for reading we made our own peace logo but before that we read about inner peace. There a really cool quote that says without inner peace you can not have outer peace. We had to find a text for an article about inner peace and I think I found a really good article because it has a lot of other stuff about inner peace with it, the site is could positive psychology .

To me inner peace means having peace with your self and respect who you are with, and outer peace means to me that you have peace with the people around you.

For the create we had to remake a peace symbol and make it our own. I chose a dove and I made him holding a sine meaning peace is this way and he as a heart that has some peace words in it.

If you did this what would your symbol be like?

L4: Multiplication Facts

 L4: Multiplication Facts

For this week I had some time to do some math knowledge. I like doing math knowledge because I can buff some goals off on hero, so I did multiplication because I like to do multiplication because it is a bit hard and fun. I got 15 questions to do and it probably took me like 15 minutes to do but it was fun.

here are the questions

5 x 12 = 60 5 x 11 = 55
5 x 5 = 25 12 x 4 = 48
9 x 9 = 81 7 x 10 = 70
8 x 11 = 88 6 x 4 = 24
4 x 4 = 16 12 x 5 = 60
6 x 4 = 24 3 x 8 = 24
11 x 10 = 110 11 x 3 = 33

do you have different answers?

 P.B.L Grit

This week we had a work shop based on Grit, "Grit" means to keep going no matter what. At that start of the work shop we had to do a 5 minute work out with out stopping to see who had the most grit. The work out included burpees, press ups, sit ups, etc, then we look at people who field but in the end succeeded. Now come my favorite part, we got to make memes about grit and I made a lot of memes and I think they are funny so here they are:

I hope you like them

If you made a meme what will it be like?

Complex Sentences

 Complex Sentences

Like last week we where looking at the differences for a simple sentence, compound sentence and a complex sentence. A complex sentence has a independent clause and a dependent clause, that technically means that one part of the sentence can stand on its own and the other part of the sentence can not stand on its own. So what we had to do was to fix some sentences on a doc and copy and past the sentences onto the doc.

here are the sentences:

The boy, who was only seven, could play the piano.

The beach, which was very crowded, was hotter than ever.

The ball, which was kicked by the goalkeeper, flew through the air.

The music, which was too loud, gave me a headache.

The old lady, who had lots of bags, waited for a taxi.

The bus, which was empty, sped down the street.

The music, which was too loud, gave me a headache.

The old lady, who had lots of bags, waited for a taxi.

The bus, which was empty, sped down the street.

The loaf of bread, which she bought last week, was moldy.

The singer, who was on the stage, sang to the audience.

The child, who was lost, was crying in the supermarket.

The aeroplane, which was full of passengers, was landing at the airport.

The people, who were pushing and shoving, queued to buy a bargain.

The music, which was too loud, gave me a headache.

The astronaut climbed into the space rocket.

The ants, which were two years old, built their colony.

The elderly man, who was 91 at the time, struggled across the road.

The rainbow, which was 100m long, stretched across a cloudless sky.

how will you fill out the sentences?
