This is the last day for reading for this term and I had a lot of fun making it. We had three options are create an event for your community - St Francis or your living community. create a word brick or your own ‘Be’ poem. I did a Be, also the goal is making connections and synthesizing.

This week for math we did Recall conversions between decimals, fractions & percentages. For example:

For the create we had a chose to do a video explaining this goal

This week for Target writing was just like last weeks writing but we had to rewrite the video we watched and we had to have more than 9 sentences but I think I bet that by a lot.

This week for reading we were learning about instructions. For the create we had to pick one of the instructions and do it and take a photo of the end results. I chose the baking one but because I have allergies I thought the ingredients won't work that well but in the end they worked really well.

This week for math we are learning reflection, translation, rotation and enlargement. For the create we had to make our own logos and at lest have 2 types of transformations but I did all for them because it was going to be too easy.

Statistical Investigation

This week for math we are learning Statistical Investigations. I really like doing them because they are very fun to do for example the NZ football team scored fine goals. For our create we had to make our own Statistical Investigation and make two stamens about them also make a chart about it.

This week for target writing (witch is my writing for this week) we had to wring nine sentences about a pitcher of a small dragon and at least two of the sentences had to be complex sentences. I did four complex sentences because I thought two was not going to be enough.

Reading

 Reading

This week for reading we had to read two texts about happiness and hobbies. In the second text I learn that hobbies can keep your mind of things if you are stressed and it dose not matter if you are good at it. For this weeks create task was had a lot of options to chose from and I did hobbies to try in lock down. I recommend to try Cooking, Play a Sport or Learning an Instruments.

From last week and this week we have been making Speeches for our hub and we got budded up with some one and we had to write a comment on their speech. We had to make a blog showing what the other person commented on our speech. (I was budded up with Daniel)

Reading (Mindset)

 Mindset

This week for reading we had to read 3 texts and watch one video about mindsets. The first text is about the man who thinks, the second was a video about Michael Jordan's mindset, the third one was about kind moments in the Olympics, and the last text was about quitting.

We had to pick one of the goals and pick one of the texts and fill out a template, I did the text about quitting. I did goal two so we had to find connections about the mean ideas about the text and make two questions that will link up to two of the other texts.

For the DLO we had to find some one famous and write times in there life when they did not give up and what mindset did they have. I did Albert Einstein because I know a lot about him and I love the equation E=MC2.

Emotional literacy

Emotional literacy

This week (Week 1) for PBL we had write about times we fleet emotion on this doc. There are five emotions on the doc and we also had to write on the other side how we can in prove the emotion. We had to have one or two sentence on each side and I had a lot of fun reminding about the times.

Reading Wk3 (peace)

Peace

This week for reading we made our own peace logo but before that we read about inner peace. There a really cool quote that says without inner peace you can not have outer peace. We had to find a text for an article about inner peace and I think I found a really good article because it has a lot of other stuff about inner peace with it, the site is could positive psychology .

To me inner peace means having peace with your self and respect who you are with, and outer peace means to me that you have peace with the people around you.

For the create we had to remake a peace symbol and make it our own. I chose a dove and I made him holding a sine meaning peace is this way and he as a heart that has some peace words in it.

This week for target writing we had to write one paragraph about why pollution is a problem. In my paragraph I had a statement question and a command, I also had simple sentence compound sentence and a complex sentence.

This week for writing we did persuasive writing, If you do not know what persuasive writing is it is just like a TV add convincing you to buy there product. So instead of a TV add we did a persuasive text and I did my writing about should student be paid to of to school and I think not but if you disagree comment on the blog why you think that. We had to write three paragraphs about why we think this.

For this week I had some time to do some math knowledge. I like doing math knowledge because I can buff some goals off on hero, so I did multiplication because I like to do multiplication because it is a bit hard and fun. I got 15 questions to do and it probably took me like 15 minutes to do but it was fun.
